Dr Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist with seven years of experience in providing assessments and interventions to children and adults across a range of settings, including inpatient services, community mental health teams and primary care. Dr Lisa aims to provide clients with a non-judgemental, safe space in which to explore and overcome their difficulties. In addition to her work at the Consulting Clinic, Dr Lisa works full time in a community care setting providing psychotherapeutic interventions to adults, children and families experiencing a range of emotional difficulties.
Dr Lisa’s approach is underpinned by a person-centred, strengths-based philosophy. She takes an integrative approach to best meet the client’s needs. Dr Lisa draws on a variety of psychotherapeutic orientations, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. Dr Lisa also has experience and training in delivering group interventions (e.g. Mindfulness training, Group Compassion Focused Therapy, anxiety management groups, parenting groups).
