Fertility Counselling 

Therapy is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness Based interventions to help clients adjust to the life changes and difficulties they are facing; to work through grief and loss; to manage their symptoms, improve wellbeing and enhance relationships/attachments and self-identity. Also offering therapy for people undergoing ICSI, IVF, Donor, Adoption and Oncology.

The Process Includes:

  • The type of therapy will be determined by the Psychologist at the assessment. A treatment plan and number of sessions will be discussed with the individual or couple following the assessment.

  • The Psychologist will give you work to do in-between the sessions

  • Appointments are 50 minutes in length.

  • Offering Implications Counselling for those going through assisted conception treatments involving the use of donor eggs, sperm or embryos.

Dr Clarke has completed specialist fertility counselling intensive training through The British Infertility Counselling Association and is a member of the following:

  • Executive Committee Member for The Irish Fertility Counselling Association in 2022 -2023 and a full member since 2017 – present. 
  • The European Society of Human Reproductive and Embryology (ESHRE).
