Dr. Mary Mangan

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Mary is a Clinical Psychologist with six years of experience in providing assessments and interventions to children and adults across various settings including community mental health teams, paediatrics and primary care. Dr Mary aims to provide clients with a safe non-judgemental space from which they can explore and overcome their experiences.

Alongside her work with The Consulting Clinic, Dr Mary works full time in a community care setting providing therapeutic interventions to individuals across the lifespan who experience mild to moderate psychological difficulties.

Approach

Dr Mary takes an integrative and person centred approach, meeting the client where they are at. The integrative approach taken draws on a range of psychotherapeutic orientations including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches and Somatic Experiencing.

Memberships

Dr Mary is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and within the Clinical Psychology Division of The Psychological Society of Ireland.
